WorkSafeBC approves our Asbestos Abatement Level 1 (Foundational Awareness) and Level 2 (Asbestos Safety) training. We designed these courses for workers involved in asbestos abatement, including the transportation, removal, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
Level 1: Foundational Awareness
This course provides workers with essential knowledge about asbestos, including health risks, regulations, and safety procedures. It is required for anyone involved in transporting or disposing of asbestos-containing materials. Course Details • Course Length: 1 day • Price: $550.
Level 2: Asbestos Safety
Level 2 training focuses on safe work procedures for asbestos abatement, including using personal protective equipment (PPE), containment construction, decontamination protocols, and air monitoring. This program is for workers performing moderate and high-risk asbestos abatement activities. This course gives workers direct training so they can manage asbestos safely. Level 3: Supervisor Training

Practical Training and Certification
